Parent questions, answered

How often should my child come for a routine checkup?

In the first year we like to see babies at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9 and 12 months — usually alongside vaccines. After that, once every 6 months until age 3, and yearly from age 3 onwards. Each visit covers growth, development, nutrition and any worries you have.

How do I prepare my child for a vaccination visit?

Feed your child about an hour before, dress them in loose clothes that expose the thigh or upper arm, and carry the vaccination card. Stay calm and honest with older children — a favourite toy helps. We keep paracetamol dosing instructions ready for you before you leave.

What if we missed a scheduled vaccine?

A missed dose does not mean starting over. Bring the card and we will build a catch-up plan that gets your child back on track safely, usually within a few visits.
